Set above and below the streets of London, Legacy combines radio drama and an online adventure game to tell the story of Jules and Harry, two 20-something siblings coming to terms with their family’s shocking past. Brought together after the death of their grandmother Rose, Jules and Harry uncover more than they bargained for as they seek out their inheritance and discover a mysterious legacy left by their enigmatic grandmother.



The radio drama tells Jules’ story. It is presented as a two-parter to be broadcast first on Radio 7 and then later on BBC Radio Scotland. The game is an audio-led adventure that focuses on Harry’s adventures. The two stories interweave, each supporting the other and giving new insights into the characters and locations.

In Legacy the game, you play Harry, attempting to escape the abandoned remains of a dark underground bunker beneath the streets of London. You'll need to keep your wits about you as you explore the dark underground world in which you find yourself trapped. Listen carefully and think logically to solve the puzzles and crack the codes that reunite you with your sister Jules, solve the mystery of your enigmatic grandmother and escape your unwanted legacy.

At Apple’s fall showcase of new gadgets and technologies, Steve Jobs confirmed something that Apple gamer’s have anxiously been waiting for since it’s reveal this past April: the release date of Apple Game Center.

Facebook and Target announced a partnership together whereby Target will be the first bricks and mortar retail store to sell Facebook Credits gift cards. The cards will be available for sale September 5 and will be available in $15, $25, and $50 increments.

By itself, this is not huge news (in fact, many of you may be noticing, slow news week). Zynga has been doing this for years. But in the big picture, however, it’s quite large.

Don’t let its charming characters and colorful backdrops fool you: Mega Jump isn’t for the feint of heart. Despite the cute and cuddly veneer, this is a difficult game that will challenge even the most skilled of players. But even though at times Mega Jump will have you cursing up a storm, it’s so finely crafted that you’ll want to keep playing in spite of the frustration. This is a game that will make you smile as much as it’ll make you swear.

Whatever happened to the days when developers who wished to rip off popular games would at least make some attempt to mask or redesign their “inspirations?” No, that’s not Mario, we’d hear; that’s Swordless Ninja. Slice It! is a far better game than the review score would have you believe. However, hot on the heels of my recent editorial on the state of the App Store, I have found a new way for developers to abuse the update system: review begging. This foul tactic undermines and undervalues what should be a fantastic game.
