While it might not have the rabid fan base of baseball or football, golf has quietly become one of the largest sports in America. Not a weekend goes by where a huge percentage of the adult population doesn’t grab their golf bags and hit the links. But every now and then there’s a rainy weekend... or a boring office meeting... or a bus ride to Newark. During those times it’s nice to have a little golf game in your pocket. If you have an iPhone, you’ll want that game to be Let’s Golf! 2.

The blood flows red on the battlefields of Age of Champions in the most realistic battles Facebook has to offer. The unique battle system sets this game apart from its medieval role playing game contemporaries, but it lacks the sophistication and teambuilding relationships of other games.

Adverputt is a very nice 12 hole mini-golf advergame created by Dampgnat. Each hole is sponsored by a different organization, and if this game was obviously designed to generate a lot of clicks to sponsors websites, it’s well done enough to deserve all the exposure it can get! Have fun!

Nitrome's Blast RPG comes from the tradition of Web time-waster where you fire something (in this case, a medieval knight) out of a cannon, after adjusting the angle and velocity of said cannon, with the goal of seeing how far it can travel before it skids to a stop. If Blast RPG were typical, things would end there. You would launch the knight again and again trying to get him further each time until you eventually got bored. But Blast RPG isn't typical: it's part role-playing game too! And the knight doesn't just sail passively through the air, he battles foes, grabs coins, uses items, and even levels up.

Who doesn’t love a good ‘damsel-in-distress-in-a-castle’ story? Awakening: The Dreamless Castle borrows its storyline from a variety of classic fairytales such as Sleeping Beauty, Snow White (dwarves are replaced with goblins), and Rapunzel. So, if you enjoy exploring medieval castles, solving perplexing puzzles, perusing richly drawn scenes and reading a classic fairytale story, this is a game you'll want to check out.

Headspin: Storybook is a collection of spot-the-difference puzzles presented in a giant 3D pop-up book - but this isn't the kind of story you'll want to read before bedtime. The pastoral setting, which evokes a medieval village, is deceptively peaceful: an unrelenting timer and increasingly challenging puzzles make this a game of reflexes rather than relaxation.
